The Ministry of Defense confirmed on Wednesday, 8 April 2026, that the State of Qatar was subjected to a coordinated attack involving seven ballistic missiles and multiple drones launched from Iran.
By the grace of God, Qatar’s Armed Forces acted swiftly and decisively, successfully intercepting and neutralizing all incoming threats before they could cause harm. The Ministry emphasized that the nation’s defense systems remain fully prepared and capable of responding to such hostile acts.
The statement reaffirmed Qatar’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty, protecting its people, and ensuring the security of its territory.
