Africa and Asia-Pacific: Expanding Intercontinental Connectivity

In Africa, Qatar Airways is restoring service to strategic destinations that support tourism growth and intercontinental access through Doha:
•    Kigali, Rwanda: Two weekly services restoring connectivity to East Africa
•    Seychelles: Four weekly flights supporting tourism to the Indian Ocean destination
•    Marrakesh, Morocco: Seven weekly services strengthening North African connectivity
•    Port Sudan: New service launching July 2, 2026, extending Qatar Airways' reach across Northeast Africa

Asia-Pacific
Across the Asia-Pacific region, Qatar Airways is reinvigorating critical long-haul corridors:
•   Tokyo Haneda: Resuming July 15 with four weekly services, increasing to daily operations from August 1. The airline will operate both Haneda and Narita routes, providing Tokyo travelers with expanded options.
•    Osaka: Five weekly flights connecting Japan's major business hub
•    Oceania: Restoring daily services to Adelaide and Auckland, supporting leisure travel and business connectivity
•    Central Asia: Reinstating service to Almaty, Baku, Tashkent, and Tbilisi with varying weekly frequencies to support regional connectivity
