Awqaf Qatar guidelines
In this regard, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf), has announced a series of guidelines for worshippers during Eid Al Fitr prayers, to take place next in Qatar at all mosques without exception.
Thus, they are advised to arrive before the mentioned timing so as not to overcrowd and facilitate entry and exit. If they are at full capacity, they should go to the nearest mosque.
Awqaf stressed that no congregation prayers shall be held outside but rather inside mosques. In an effort to manage crowds, worshippers are also advised to minimise the number of children accompanying them and bring down attendance where possible while pointing out that Eid prayer is a collective responsibility.
If there is any warning, worshipers should remain calm and stay in the mosque. Those outdoors are instructed to get back inside or stay in their car until it is safe.
At the end of the sermon, participants are asked to leave immediately and in an orderly and quiet manner.
