Qatar University Among Best Universities in the World to Study 19 Academic Majors

Qatar University has been ranked one of the best universities in the world to study 19 academic majors, according to the results of the latest edition of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Classification of Universities by Majors for the year 2022. In this world ranking, the university jumped to the 224th place, after it was in the 245th place during 2021, advancing by 21 places. The (QS) results indicated the development of 89 percent of these disciplines, and a zero percent of the decline in performance in these disciplines, in addition to that 11 percent of the academic disciplines remained at the same level of previous performance. Qatar University scored the best performance, according to this classification, in the disciplines of religion, religious studies, and sports-related disciplines. Regarding this classification, the President of Qatar University Dr. Hassan Rashid Al-Derham, said in statements that this classification is a great progress for the university compared to last year, and its results have contributed to the advancement of Qatar's pos \ition to become 57th in the world in this field.
