The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani chairedĀ the regular meeting held by the cabinet this afternoon at the Amiri Diwan.

The Council of Ministers considered the topics on the agenda as follows:

1) Approval of a draft cabinet decision to amend some provisions of the executive regulations of the Civil Human Resources Law.

The amendment requires increasing the value of the marriage advance to a maximum of QR 300,000 for all categories of Qatari employees instead of the QR 100,000 currently set, in order to encourage Qatari youth to marry and help them in this regard.

2) Approval of a draft decision of the Minister of Interior defining the entry and exit points for the country.

3) Approval of a draft decision of the Minister of Education and Higher Education amending some provisions of Resolutions No. (20) of 2021 and No. (2) of 2022 regarding the annual calendar of schools for the academic years 2021/2022 and 2022/2023.

4)Ā Approving the appointment of a judge at the Qatar International Court for a period of five years and determining his remuneration.

5) Approval of the Qatar Fund for Development joining the Multilateral Organizations Performance Assessment Network (MOPAN).

6) Approving a voluntary contribution to the Environment Fund to finance the United Nations Environment Program.

7) Approval of a draft agreement on mutual administrative assistance for the optimal implementation of the customs law and the suppression, investigation and control of customs crimes between the governments of the State of Qatar and the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

8) The Council of Ministers reviewed the following two issues and took the appropriate decision:

1- The first periodic report on the results of the work of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee.

2- Results of the 66th session of the Commission on the Status of Women of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (New York - March 2022).
