Al Dana Girls Center Organises Workshop to Inspire Creative Community Initiatives

Doha: The Al Dana Girls Center, operating under Qatar's Ministry of Sports and Youth, organised a workshop titled "Creative Ideas" to equip young women with the skills needed to design innovative community initiatives and transform their ideas into practical projects. 

The workshop was presented by trainer Hessa Nasser Al Nasr and brought together participants from the Qatar Cultural Center for the Deaf, highlighting the organisers' commitment to inclusion and social integration by creating a shared learning environment for girls from diverse backgrounds. 

The programme focused on helping participants develop the fundamentals of planning and designing community initiatives, encouraging them to think creatively while identifying practical solutions to social challenges. Through interactive sessions, the workshop aimed to nurture innovation, teamwork and leadership skills among young women. 

Organisers said the initiative also sought to strengthen the culture of volunteerism and social responsibility by motivating participants to turn creative concepts into projects that can make a positive impact within their communities. 

The participation of girls from the Qatar Cultural Center for the Deaf reflected the centre's commitment to ensuring equal opportunities and promoting inclusive youth programmes that encourage collaboration and mutual learning among participants with different abilities.
