Akhlaquna Awards 2026
Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, honored the winners of the 2026 Akhlaquna Awards during a ceremony at Education City, in appreciation of their initiatives and behaviors that reflect exemplary ethical values.
Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, ministers and dignitaries also attended Akhlaquna Day held at Educational City Student Center (Multaqa), when 14 winners were honored in various categories for their inspiring community initiatives throughout Qatar and the GCC, in the presence of officials and recipientsâ families.
Akhlaquna was launched in 2017 by Qatar Foundation (QF) to showcase how the domains of knowledge and education are linked with strong moral values, as well as demonstrate that ethics unite people who possess them in successful lives, while honoring those whose civic-minded projects and behaviors add value to their societies. A total of 79 ambassadors have been appointed over the years from the initiativeâs winners.
In the Akhlaquna Junior category, which awards children for practicing moral excellence, Essa Rashid Al-Muraikhi, Mohammed Ahmad Al-Hashemi, Abdulaziz Saoud Al-Jassim, Dana Abdulla Al-Shebani and Aldana Saad Al-Qahtani and Maryam Yousif Al-Jedaia received eight awards while two other students from Qatar Foundationâs (QFâs) schools â Aisha Hilal Al Mohannadi from Qatar AcademyAl Khor, and Jabr Ali Al-Mohannadi from Tariq Bin Ziad School - received the same number of awards.
Meanwhile, three students in the Akhlaquna Youth category were honored for their role in promoting ethical values and social responsibility among peers: Huiam Obaid, Meera Yousef Al-Kaabi and Rashid Mohammed Al Ghafri from QFâs Qatar Academy Al Wakra.
Akhlaquna Individual Contributions Award â Qatar: Jaffrin Alliyah Choudury for her initiative âFeed a Friendâ delivering food and essential support to those in need of it as well, assisting thousands in returning to stability while promoting compassion and social responsibility.
Akhlaquna Individual Contributions Award â GCC was awarded to Hilal Said Al Dhuhli from the Sultanate of Oman, with his initiative âEsmaniâ, which empowers people who stutter through training programs that help them find ways to overcome speech challenges and raise societal awareness about their needs and integration.
The âBunyan Clubâ initiative, directed by Mohammed Nasser Al Jabri, was one of three projects shortlisted and was awarded winners in the Akhlaquna Youth (Groups) category. This initiative wants to encourage community service and social work among the local population. Its impact is creating studentsâ awareness of social issues and developing their professional and social skills for practicing social work properly.
Akhlaquna Day also included a panel discussion titled âYouth and Ethics in Times of Crisis,â where the winning initiative called âBunyan Clubâ pitched its project. The session showcased how often young leaders are role models, their contributions to raising awareness of issues and in fostering a cohesive society and the significance to turn challenges into opportunities.
