Korea's basic knowledge index is 64.2 and it holds the third position in the top 10 countries. Education for all the children between age 6 to 15 is free in this country, only the students that are of age 15 to 18 have to pay for tuition fee. 15% of the country’s GNP is spent on education and Koreans also spend 22% of their household incomes on education.
