Qatar Stock Exchange Drops 0.28 Percent This Week
Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped 31.50 points (-0.28 percent) this week when the bourse closed Thursday afternoon at 11,071.16 points.
Trading value during this week accounted QR 1,969,476,361.079 and the trading volume reached 782,211,165 with 44,177 transactions.
Market capitalization accounted QR 637,775,504,613.030 as compared to QR 638,977,306,228.690 at the end of previous week.
Banking and Financial Services sector decreased 39.01 points (-0.82 percent) to 4,744.71 points and Consumer Goods and Services sector gained 1.71 points (+0.02 percent) to 8,227.27 points.
Industries sector increased to 29.58 points (+0.83 percent) to 3,601.09 and the Insurance sector gained 3.60 points (+0.14 percent) to 2,607.53 points.
The Real Estate sector gained 12.12 points (+0.68 percent) to 1,798.30 points. The Telecom sector decreased 3.59 points (-0.34 percent) to 1,037.08 points and Transportation sector down 12.26 points (-0.36 percent) to 3,432.99 points.
From the 48 listed companies 26 ended this week higher, while 21 lower and one company unchanged. (QNA)
