Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 824.22 points, 6.52 percent, this week to close Thursday afternoon at 13,463.02 points.

Trading value during this week accounted QR 6,982,097,330.029 and the trading volume reached 1,940,226,191 with 114,657 transactions.

Market capitalization accounted QR 723,301,980,422.530 as compared to QR 768,582,676,307.380 at the end of previous week.

Banking and Financial Services sector increased 463.45 points, 8.79 percent, to 5,734.95 points and Consumer Goods and Services sector gained 45.98 points, 0.54 percent, to 8,550.5 points.

Industries sector increased to 386.670 points, 8.4 percent, to 4,990.51 and the Insurance sector added 25.170 points, 0.98 percent, to 2,594.5 points.

The Real Estate sector up to 47.18 points 2.49 percent, to 1,945.25 points. The Telecom sector gained 12.910 points 1.13 percent, to 1,157.35 points and Transportation sector increased 186.470 points, 4.83 percent, to 4,045.81 points.

From the listed companies 37 ended this week higher, 10 companies ended in Lower.
