1. Gym Training -- The Obvious One, Done Right

-
Most gyms in Doha are well-equipped and air-conditioned to the point where you'll sometimes wish you'd brought a jacket. But not all gyms are equal.
-
Xtreme Fitness (Al Mansoura Street) -- Where the serious weight-training crowd goes. Competitive-level equipment, separate male and female areas, no Instagram posing culture. If you want to actually train, not perform, this is the gym.
-
Sheraton Fitness -- Runs 24/7 for hotel guests and 7am-11pm for day members. Squash courts, indoor tennis, yoga, aqua gym, and Zumba -- all under one roof. Pricing from QAR 2,000/month, personal training from QAR 200/hour.
-
VO2 Gym -- Has an ice bath post-workout. After training in 45°C ambient temperatures, that's recovery, not a gimmick.
-
M Active Club -- Has a proper indoor lap pool and well-maintained cardio and weights areas
