Web Summit Qatar 2024

The upcoming Web Summit Qatar will give special attention to companies dedicated to making a positive impact within their communities and striving to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Within the Web Summit's Impact Startups program, startups showcasing innovation aligned with the UN's 17 SDGs, aimed at creating a better world, will be highlighted. The summit aims to celebrate emerging companies in its network committed to making the UN's Sustainable Development Goals a reality.

The Impact Startups program is set to feature at least 25 startups, focusing on areas such as healthcare, agricultural product trading, AI-powered personalized learning, and the use of optimization algorithms and machine learning to reduce materials in urban construction.

Web Summit Qatar encourages applications from startups interested in participating in the Impact Startups program. The program is designed to introduce these startups to leading investors, companies, and media globally.

Impact startups within the Web Summit network are actively pursuing one or more of the SDGs through sustainable operations, addressing industry problems with broad implications, and prioritizing social collaboration and idea-sharing over competition and profit.

As the largest annual technology conference globally, Web Summit brings together entrepreneurs, investors, startups, and experts in the tech industry. The Qatar edition, taking place for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa region, is expected to showcase the latest trends in technology and innovation while providing networking opportunities for global participants.

Scheduled for February 26-29 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, Web Summit Qatar anticipates gathering over 7,500 attendees, 300 startups, and 400 investors.

The summit will also attract more than 500 international media partners, offering extensive media coverage and exposure for speakers.
