The State of Qatar has strongly condemned attacks by the Houthi group targeting civilians and civilian objects in the Saudi cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha and Taif.

The attacks, carried out using ballistic missiles and drones, reportedly injured several civilians and caused material damage to residential homes and vehicles.


Qatar Calls Attacks a Violation of International Law

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attacks as disgraceful acts of aggression and an unacceptable disregard for civilian lives.

The ministry said the attacks represent a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a clear breach of international law.


Qatar Rejects Attacks on Civilians

Qatar reiterated its categorical rejection of attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for an immediate end to such irresponsible acts, stressing the importance of protecting civilian lives and respecting international law.


Qatar Reaffirms Solidarity With Saudi Arabia

Qatar expressed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed its support for all legitimate measures taken by the kingdom to safeguard its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity and interests.

The ministry stressed that Saudi Arabia’s security is an integral part of Qatar’s security and the collective security system of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).


Qatar Wishes Injured a Speedy Recovery

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its wishes for a speedy recovery for those injured in the attacks.

It also prayed for the protection of Saudi Arabia and its people from all harm.
