Sustainability week 2023 was launched yesterday by Qatar Museums for their staff, families, and educational institutions of the country. The events will be held from February 19 to 23, 2023.

The week will be inaugurated by planting tree saplings at the Museum of Islamic Art Park today at 9.30 am. Free tree/ plant saplings will be provided to the volunteers to nurture in their homes.

Donation and Recycling Day in the Museum of Islamic Art and the National Museum of Qatar will be held on February 21 where dedicated collection areas will be available for donations that will be provided to Qatar Charity and Qatar Red Crescent Society.

Light Out Day will be held on February 21 in an effort to reduce unnecessary energy usage. Sustainability in Arts & Culture activity will be held on February 22 which will be hosted in collaboration with the Doha Fire Station, where artists and experts will engage in a discussion about sustainable art practices. Beach Clean-up will be held on February 23.
