Qatar's Amir Expresses Support to Oman in Wake of Cyclone Shaheen

The Amir, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on Sunday held a phone call with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman to express solidarity with Oman in the wake of Cyclone Shaheen that hit the country.

The Amir expressed the solidarity of Qatar with the Omani people and its support for the sultanate in its efforts to face the repercussions of the cyclone.

The sultan expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Amir for his fraternal and humanitarian solidarity and the position of Qatar which reflects the strength of the brotherly relations between the two countries. The phone call also reviewed the close relations between the two countries and the prospects of enhancing them.
