The Volunteering and Local Development Sector of the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) implemented its annual entertainment and educational initiative for sick children, entitled "This is my wish", to support them psychologically and socially and work to achieve their wishes to become reality.

The initiative, which was implemented within the school crescent program seeks to stand by the category of sick children who suffer from chronic diseases, raise their morale, alleviate their suffering, enhance their abilities to heal and resist disease, and help them integrate into society like other healthy groups, and urge them to Participate in his service and engage in educational, recreational, educational, sports and other activities and initiatives.

This year, the initiative targeted 87 sick children and their siblings, who visited the KidZania entertainment city, with gifts distributed to them in a ceremony held on this occasion.

Noora Al Fadala, Head of Community Development in the Volunteering and Local Development Sector at QRCS, said that children are in a fertile environment that must be taken care of by supporting them and instilling values and principles in their souls for a generation with a high degree of awareness and responsibility towards society, and because they are the leaders of tomorrow and with their help, they adopt the Qatari renaissance, which reflects the Qatar National Vision 2030.

She added that illness has never been an obstacle to creativity and an effective contribution to society, and we consider sick children like all other categories, and urge them to make their mark in society, and we are proud of their active contributions by continuing the journey of life with high spirits, and rushing towards learning and practicing various areas of life.
