The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has issued a warning regarding the unauthorized capture of photos at accident scenes, emphasizing that such actions are a violation of privacy laws and carry legal consequences.
In a recent post on social media, the Ministry highlighted the importance of respecting privacy, stating, "Adhering to laws reflects your awareness and preserves the rights of others."
The MoI referred to Article 333 of the Penal Code, which mandates that anyone who intrudes into another person's private life without consent can face up to two years in prison or a fine of up to QR10,000. The Ministry urged the public to be mindful of these regulations and avoid sharing or capturing accident photos in situations where permission has not been granted.
