Coaches Al Arabi Younes Ali and Al Wakrah Marquez Lopez spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 20 match, scheduled on Sat. April 29.

"All players are fully prepared for the match. After the end of Amir Cup semifinal, during which the team performed more than wonderfully, we have to take advantage of this result to achieve the required result against Al Wakrah in the league.

"Pressure is always there in all matches and this is a decisive match. I asked the players to show the spirit of victory and enthusiasm in order to make the fans happy.

"All players are fully prepared for the game and we will assess the readiness of Mohammed Badr Sayyar, who attended the last two training sessions," said Younes.

For his part, Al Wakra coach Marquez Lopez said that his team is fully prepared for tomorrow's match against the runners-up of the QNB Stars League, pointing at the same time to the difficulty of the task given Al-Arabi's position in the standings and their need for the three points to compete for the title.

"Preparations for this match took a long time, and it started after the end of the previous meeting. This is good for us to have time to prepare for the match, and now I assure that all players are fully prepared and highly focused in training for this important match."
