Prime Minister sends congratulations to Presidents of Maldives and Liberia

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani conveys Qatar's best wishes to the two nations on their Independence Days.

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has sent cables of congratulations to the President of the Republic of Maldives HE Dr Mohamed Muizzu and the President of the Republic of Liberia HE Joseph Nyuma Boakai, on the occasion of their countries' Independence Days.

In the cables, the Prime Minister expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to the two presidents, and wished the peoples of the two countries further progress and prosperity.

The Maldives marks its Independence Day on July 26, commemorating the end of British protectorate status in 1965, while Liberia celebrates the anniversary of its declaration of independence in 1847 on the same date.
