Poor horizontal visibility and foggy weather conditions expected on Tuesday: QMD

According to the latest weather report by Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD), the weather inshore until 6 in the evening on Tuesday is expected to be hazy to misty with chance of fog at places at first, and later becomes hot to very hot during the day and humid by night. The detailed weather forecast has also issued warning regarding poor horizontal visibility at places at first.

The weather offshore is likely to be hazy at places at first and some clouds.

The detailed weather report also states that wind inshore is expected to vary less than 05 knot at first, and then becomes northwesterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 knot.

The wind offshore, will be variable less than 05 knot at first, becomes northeasterly to southeasterly 05 to 15 knot.

Visibility is expected to be 4 to 9/3 kilometres or less at places at first. Sea state inshore is likely to be 1 to 2 feet, while offshore it will be 2 to 4 feet, the report added.
