HH Sheikha Moza Meets UN Refugees Chief and other officials
HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Education Above All and Qatar Foundation, met on Sunday morning with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees HE Filippo Grandi.
They discussed the progress of the new, ongoing project between Education Above All and UNHCR to educate more than 364,000 displaced children in 14 countries. With this new agreement, EAA and UNHCR would have enrolled a total of more than 1.5 million out of school displaced children worldwide.
Also, the meeting discussed Qatar Foundation's efforts in supporting Afghan evacuees.
HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al-Thani, Vice-Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation, attended the meeting.
