Data released by MwaniQatar today said that shipments of general and bulk cargo registered a year-over-year growth of 114% to more than 249,866 tons in last April compared to April 2022.
Livestock volumes increased by 632% to reach 70,182 heads, while the volumes of building material rose by 15% to 36,460 tons and RORO increased by 2% to 8,025 units, it added.
The data also showed that 103,939 standard containers were handled and that the number of vessels reached 228.
