Rome,Italy - September 01,2026: Juventus announced on Tuesday that it had signed German striker Nick Woltemade on a season-long loan from Newcastle United of the English Premier League.

Juventus Hails "Significant Addition" to Attack

In a statement, Juventus described Woltemade as a significant addition to the squad, pointing to his steady development in football and the experience he gained coming through the ranks at Werder Bremen, where he made his senior debut in 2020, before a loan spell with German second-division side Elversberg.

Rise Through Stuttgart Before Newcastle Move

Woltemade returned to Werder Bremen following his loan before moving to VfB Stuttgart in 2024, where he established himself as one of the Bundesliga's most promising forwards, netting 18 goals in 36 appearances and playing a key role in Stuttgart's DFB-Pokal triumph. His performances there prompted Newcastle United to sign him in August 2025 for a club-record fee.

53 Appearances for Newcastle Before Juventus Switch

During his time on Tyneside, Woltemade made 53 appearances across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing six assists, before completing his move to Juventus, who were seeking attacking reinforcements after sending Jonathan David out on loan to Atletico Madrid.
