On May 31, 2024, the Geneva International Motor Show announced the cancellation of its 2024 edition in Geneva due to unfavorable market conditions in Europe. However, the show will continue with its Qatar edition, scheduled for November 2025.
The decision reflects the organizers' assessment that the current European market is not conducive to the success of future editions. In contrast, the first edition of GIMS Qatar was a success, prompting the continuation of the show in a more favorable context with a unique concept.
The next Geneva International Motor Show will take place in Doha in November 2025, building on the success of its inaugural event in Qatar.
