The Organising Committee for Expo 2023 Doha announced the imminent launch of the Expo 2023 Doha Volunteer Programme.

This exciting programme invites all citizens and residents for those who are 18 years old or older to share their skills, passion, and enthusiasm towards raising awareness about desertification, focusing on this year's theme of ''Green Desert, Better Environment'' and contributing to the successful hosting of Expo 2023 Doha.

The Expo 2023 Doha Volunteer Journey offers an inclusive experience for 2,200 volunteers, beginning with a streamlined application and onboarding process. Through careful selection, successful candidates are allocated roles matching their unique skill set and preferences, said the organising committee in a press release on Saturday.

These roles provide a unique opportunity to engage across numerous aspects of the event, including visitor services, cultural activities, ceremonies and more. This ensures a seamless and unforgettable experience for the three million visitors expected to attend the Expo 2023 Doha.

As an unpaid activity, the programme offers volunteers an opportunity to receive comprehensive training, ongoing guidance support, make connections and contribute to a rewarding global conversation. Selected candidates will be stationed at Al Bidda Park, the heart of Expo 2023 Doha's activities, which will be held from October 2, 2023, to March 28, 2024.

The Expo 2023 Doha Volunteer Programme is seeking passionate individuals above 18 years of age to join their dynamic team. Potential candidates are expected to be adaptable, work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude.

Previous volunteer experience is not a requirement.

Volunteering for Expo 2023 Doha is a great way to promote unity, serve your community, and gain invaluable experiences. Volunteers will play a vital role on a global scale, working alongside influential participants from over 80 countries in the horticulture and environmental sector.
