Escalation Continues as U.S. Strikes Hit Iran for Multiple Consecutive Nights

Multiple explosions were reported across Iran following a new wave of U.S. airstrikes, marking yet another escalation in the rapidly intensifying conflict between Washington and Tehran. According to Iranian media and regional observers, blasts were heard in several cities after the U.S. military carried out fresh attacks targeting Iranian military infrastructure.

The latest strikes form part of a sustained campaign, with the U.S. conducting eight to eleven consecutive nights of airstrikes across Iran in response to Iranian attacks on U.S. personnel and regional allies.

These reports emerged as U.S. Central Command confirmed ongoing operations aimed at degrading Iranian military capabilities, including drone storage sites, aircraft hangars, and facilities linked to attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

The renewed U.S. offensive follows a series of Iranian attacks that killed American soldiers in Jordan and Iraq. U.S. officials stated that the strikes were carried out “in response to Iranian aggression,” including missile and drone attacks targeting U.S. assets and regional partners. 

The conflict has widened beyond Iran’s borders, with Tehran launching retaliatory strikes on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar, further destabilizing the Gulf region and undermining fragile ceasefire efforts.

•    Kuwait reported intercepting Iranian missiles and drones as sirens blared across the capital. 
•    Jordan confirmed shooting down multiple Iranian missiles aimed at its territory. 
•    Bahrain and Qatar have also reported attempted Iranian strikes amid the widening conflict. 

The Strait of Hormuz — a critical global energy chokepoint — remains a central flashpoint, with both sides accusing each other of targeting commercial vessels and threatening global trade routes. 

Ceasefire Efforts Collapse

A month old interim ceasefire agreement between the U.S. and Iran has effectively unraveled. U.S. officials say Iranian attacks on ships and military personnel show the truce is no longer viable, while Iranian leaders accuse Washington of violating previous understandings.
