Dr.Ibrahim Al Nuaimi: High School Results to be Announced This Week

HE the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh al Nuaimi, confirmed that the high school exams eesults will be announced in the ongoing week. 

HE expected that results would be better than last year, especially after schools are now back to their normal situation, stressing that the Ministry looked at the students' complaints about the math exam in the art track and the physics exam in the scientific track, reassuring them that the test questions were based on the school curriculum.

Dr.Ibrahim Al Nuaimi said that the test questions are prepared by test specialists in the Ministry and are not done randomly by the test makers' team Other teams go through the tests before they are approved to ensure that they go through a series of revisions to make sure that the questions are a part of the curriculum. 

Dr. Al Nuaimi reassured everyone that the Ministry is treating all students equally. 

Dr. Al Nuaimi discussed in press statements that 156 teachers and students won in international and national competitions, ensuring that this is the result of the hard work of government and private schools supported by the Education Affairs sector and the Private Education Affairs sector to participate in all competitions. 

He highlighted that those achievements were accomplished in spite of a slowdown in research activities in schools during the COVID period. 

Dr. Al Nuami said that he is expecting a high increase in accomplishments in the upcoming years and a continuous research contribution in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and its government and private schools and the Qatar National Research Fund. 

Dr. Al Nuami added that the Ministry is expanding the "STEM" system on both horizontal and vertical levels. As a part of this educational system, this type of education is offered to all schools across Qatar, and preparations are being made to launch specialized schools adopting the "STEM" education system.

Dr. Al Nuami said that "STEM" schools will not be opened during the upcoming academic year. However, other new schools will be launched during the upcoming academic year.
