His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani patronised the graduation ceremony of the eleventh batch of students at Al Zaeem Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College, at the college’s headquarters at Al Udeid Air Base on Tuesday morning.

The ceremony was attended by President of the sisterly Federal Republic of Somalia HEHassan Sheikh Mohamud, and a number of Their Excellencies sheikhs and ministers.

The ceremony was also attended by several leaders of colleges, institutes, security, military and university academies, senior officials in brotherly and friendly countries, senior officers of the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Interior, the Amiri Guard and the State Security Service, in addition to Their Excellencies the heads of diplomatic missions in the country, the parents of the graduates and the guests of the ceremony.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the national anthem was played, and then permission was given to the leader of the column, His Highness the Amir, to inspect the queue of 116 graduates from the State of Qatar, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Federal Republic of Somalia.

After reciting verses from the Quran and displaying the procession of the graduates’ column and the military parade, His Highness the Amir honoured the outstanding students - 12 graduates, after which the flags from the eleventh to the twelfth batch were received and handed over, the appointment order was read, and the parade queue departed.

The air show began with several training aircraft belonging to Al Zaeem Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College, including PC21 aircraft, Super Mushshak aircraft, and H-125 helicopters, with the participation of the Qatari Amiri Air Force with F-15 aircraft, Rafale aircraft, and Typhoon aircraft,C-17 and C-130 transport aircraft, and helicopter aviation represented by Apache, NH-90, and Agusta aircraft also participated.

At the end of the ceremony, the officers of the eleventh batch performed the oath and the college anthem.
