Ibtihaj Al Ahmadan opened the tenth edition of the Arabian Woman Exhibition at DECC

On Friday, Ibtihaj Al Ahmadani, a Board Member of the Qatar Chamber and Chairperson of the Qatari Businesswomen Forum, inaugurated the tenth edition of the 'Arabian Woman Exhibition' at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).

The opening ceremony was attended by a distinguished group of businesswomen and entrepreneurs from Qatar and other countries, along with Tamader Al Marri, the director of Vogue Event Company, the organizing company of the exhibition.

Under the sponsorship of the Qatari Businesswomen Forum, the exhibition will run until Thursday, February 1, featuring 240 domestic and foreign booths. Over 200 notable female entrepreneurs from Qatar, as well as exhibitors from other regional countries, are presenting their innovations and designs for the winter and autumn of 2024.

Following the opening ceremony, Al Ahmadani toured the exhibition pavilions, gaining insights into the latest designs and items displayed by Qatari and other designers in the fashion, accessories, and women's products sectors.

In her statement, Al Ahmadani emphasized the ongoing support of the Qatari Businesswomen Forum for Qatari businessmen, aiding them in promoting their products and projects domestically and internationally, thereby enhancing their contribution to the state's commercial and economic activity.

Al Ahmadani noted the significant development of the 'Arabian Woman Exhibition' in terms of the number of exhibitors, exhibition area, and the quality of exhibited items, which include innovative designs in fashion, accessories, and women's requirements.

Tamader Al Marri highlighted the substantial development the exhibition has undergone in recent years, solidifying its status as one of the most important events in Doha. She stressed that the exhibition serves as a platform for Qatari designers to showcase their new and innovative selections, providing an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs to promote their projects and products, contributing to their role in the economic process.

Al Marri anticipates increased attendance compared to the previous edition, which attracted more than 12,000 visitors. She emphasized the participation of distinguished brands in Arab fashion, making this edition special and inclusive, covering all the needs of Qatari women, including abayas and women's supplies.

The exhibition is open from Saturday to Thursday, from 10 am to 10 pm.
