Following its official opening in November 2022, Aisha Bint Hamad Al-Attiyah hospital has performed the first eye surgery in the hospital. 

“At Aisha Bint Hamad Al-Attiyah hospital we provide the best healthcare services to all patients delivered by professional medical teams using the latest technologies. The ophthalmology outpatient clinics receive referrals from Al Khor hospital and healthcare centers across Qatar and since we started performing eye surgeries, we have successfully performed 4 surgeries a week including eyelid procedures, pterygium and cataract. Patients were discharged on the same day after receiving healthcare,” said Dr. Abdulrahman Al Muhannadi, Head of Ophthalmology at Aisha Bint Hamad Al-Attiyah hospital. 

Aisha Bint Hamad Al-Attiyah hospital is one of Hamad Medical Corporation’s community hospitals located to the north of Qatar, just south of Al Khor.
