AFL team Sydney Swans and Qatar Airways expand their partnership

The Sydney Swans of the Australian Football League (AFL) have received a cooperation extension from Qatar Airways, the airline company said. According to the new arrangement, the team's official airline partner will continue for an extended period of time.

The airline's entry into the AFL was marked with the partnership's initial announcement in 2016. As part of the partnership, Qatar Airways will have prominent branding at Sydney Swans home games and practices. Supporters will also continue to get exclusive deals and gifts all season long.

Since we first started serving Australia in 2009, Qatar Airways has received tremendous support from the Australian community. This partnership with the Sydney Swans, one of the country’s best-supported and most elite sporting teams, marked our debut in the world of high profile Australian sports sponsorship. The extension of this partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to Australia.”

Sydney Swans CEO, Tom Harley said,  “We are grateful to Qatar Airways for their continued support, with this announcement taking our partnership to a decade.”
