Ankara, October 4, 2026 : Turkish defense and aviation industry exports rose by 30 percent over the past 12 months, reaching $10.941 billion.
Haluk Gorgun, head of the Presidency of Defense Industries, said in a social media post that defense and aviation exports rose 10.7 percent last September compared to the same month a year earlier, reaching $634 million.
He added that total exports for the January-to-September period increased by 15.6 percent, reaching $6.926 billion.
Gorgun also pointed to the continued strengthening of the Turkish defense industry's presence in international markets.
