44th cycle of its Award for Arab Researchers

Amman, Jordan: The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation (AHSF) has announced the winners of the 44th cycle of its Award for Arab Researchers, recognising 12 researchers from across the Arab world for their contributions to scientific research.

The researchers were selected across six scientific fields, highlighting the foundation’s long-running efforts to encourage academic excellence and strengthen scientific research in the Arab region.

Supporting Arab Scientific Research

AHSF CEO Valentina Kassisieh said the award has, for more than four decades, aimed to support Arab scientific research and enhance the standing of scholars and researchers working toward development and progress.

She stressed that investing in knowledge and scientific research remains one of the most sustainable ways to build the future and respond to the rapidly evolving challenges facing Arab societies.

656 Applications Received

Interest in the 44th edition of the award was significant, with the foundation receiving 656 applications.

Of these, 296 submissions were excluded because they were incomplete or did not meet the required eligibility criteria.

The remaining 360 applications underwent peer review by specialised reviewers from around the world. The evaluation process followed specific and rigorous scientific criteria designed to ensure the quality and credibility of the selection process.

More Than Four Decades of Recognition

The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation has used the Arab Researchers Award to recognise outstanding scientific achievements and encourage researchers to continue developing knowledge that contributes to the advancement of Arab communities.

The latest group of 12 winners reflects the foundation’s continued focus on promoting research, innovation and academic excellence across the region.
