Qatar's Prime Minister, Turkish Foreign Minister Discuss Regional Diplomacy in Phone Call

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held a telephone conversation with HE Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.

Bilateral Ties and Regional Coordination Discussed

During the call, the two sides reviewed the cooperative relations between Qatar and Türkiye and explored ways to further strengthen them. They also addressed recent regional developments, with particular focus on ongoing diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at de-escalating tensions and reinforcing security and stability across the region.

Qatar Reaffirms Support for Peace Efforts

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the State of Qatar's continued support for all diplomatic initiatives seeking a resolution that safeguards freedom of maritime navigation. He emphasized that such efforts aim to pave the way for a comprehensive agreement capable of delivering lasting peace to the region.
