Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Meets India’s External Affairs Minister in Doha

HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al‑Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, met on Sunday with HE Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, during his official visit to Doha.

The discussions centered on advancing bilateral relations, with particular emphasis on expanding economic cooperation. Both sides also exchanged views on regional developments and their impact on the global economy and energy markets, alongside other issues of mutual concern.

The leaders underscored the importance of resolving disputes and conflicts through dialogue and diplomatic means, stressing that peaceful solutions are vital for enhancing security and stability at both regional and international levels.

They agreed to intensify collaboration by activating joint working mechanisms and bilateral committees, ensuring progress on priority areas for both nations. The meeting reflects the shared commitment of Qatar and India to deepen ties and strengthen cooperation across multiple fields.
