Doha Festival City
Qatar Reads, an initiative launched by Qatar National Library to promote a culture of reading in all its forms throughout the country, will be present with an interactive booth at Doha Festival City this year from April 1 until April 22. The activation in partnership with Eagle Eye Media Group, seeks to increase engagement with the Family Reading Program (FRP) ā a structured initiative aimed at us as parents to help establish and maintain consistent reading habits for families at home, MVP details provided families an easy way to discover if theyād found the program while directly enrolling through an interactive simulcast.
Visitors to the booth will experience this mission through a schedule of activities designed for children and families. These comprise interactive storytelling sessions, reading challenges, creative literacy-based activities, and led explorations of age-appropriate book selections. The experience is intended to be entertaining but also demonstrate how reading can become a seamless, pleasurable part of family life.
The Qatar Reads team will be on hand for the three-week period to answer any questions about the programās structure, benefits and how to enrol. Families will be able to subscribe directly at the booth, receive tailored support, and learn more about how the program can reinforce their childrenās literacy growth and family connections.
This initiative comes on the heels of an earlier Reading Space activation in September 2025, which saw a high volume of user engagement, demonstrating Qatar Readsā commitment to delivering continuous engagement opportunities to families across Qatar in highly visible public areas.
