Qatar Participates in Opening Ceremony of Oman Climate Week 2026

Muscat, September 14, 2026 : The State of Qatar took part in the opening ceremony of the second edition of Oman Climate Week 2026, held in Muscat from September 14 to 16 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Qatar Represented by Environment Minister

Qatar's delegation was represented by HE Minister of Environment and Climate Change Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie.

Minister Tours Accompanying Exhibition

Following the ceremony, the Minister toured an exhibition held alongside the event, viewing initiatives, projects, and the latest technologies presented by participating government entities, companies, and institutions in the fields of environmental protection, sustainability, clean energy, resource management, circular economy, and climate technologies.

Participation Reflects Qatar's Climate Commitments

Qatar's participation in Oman Climate Week 2026 reflects its commitment to strengthening regional and international cooperation and partnerships in climate action, as well as the exchange of expertise in environmental protection and the transition to a low-carbon green economy — supporting joint efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
