The first day of the five-day course for training in video filming and montage on 12 April 2026. The initiative comes within the framework of QNA Training Center's 2026 training plan, with participation from media professionals from the agency and a number of other government agencies.

Led by a photography and montage specialist at QNA, Anwar bin Ammar, the course will enhance the participants' skills in visual content production according to professional standards, including being familiar with modern photography techniques and methods of producing visual materials that meet media work requirements, as well as developing their capabilities in fieldwork and sharpening their skillset in telling stories visually through practical applications specialized.

The training course is theoretical in addition to practical components, starting from introducing photography equipment like cameras and lenses, the principles of lightning and how to use it as well as a review of different categories of photography and their uses in media work.

The course will also contain montage (video editing) skills using various applications while focusing on the tools used in them according to the type of content and color correction and how to improve image quality, and art direction principles as well as creating an integrated visual story.

This training course is part of the QNA's efforts, through its Training Center, to develop national media competencies and keep pace with the rapid developments in the publicizing digital content industry as well as contribute to enhancing the quality of media production.
