Qatar Airways to Launch Flights to Caracas and Bogotá From July 22, 2026
Qatar Airways has announced the launch of new routes to Caracas, Venezuela (CCS) and Bogotá, Colombia (BOG), commencing 22 July 2026, marking a major expansion of its operations in the Americas.
The airline will become the first Gulf carrier to serve Venezuela and the first airline to operate direct flights from the Middle East to Caracas and Bogotá, underscoring its commitment to strengthening global connectivity.
Qatar Airways confirmed that it will operate two weekly flights on the new routes, departing Doha every Wednesday and Sunday. The schedule is designed to provide seamless onward connections through Hamad International Airport to destinations including Australia, China, Japan, Lebanon, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates, offering passengers greater flexibility across its global network of more than 160 destinations this summer.
Flight Schedule (QR783):
Doha (DOH) → Bogotá (BOG): Departure 07:30; Arrival 16:05
Bogotá (BOG) → Caracas (CCS): Departure 17:35; Arrival 20:40
Caracas (CCS) → Doha (DOH): Departure 22:40; Arrival 19:55 (+1)
The addition of Caracas and Bogotá brings Qatar Airways’ footprint in the Americas to 16 destinations, building on its South American presence that began in 2010 with São Paulo, Brazil.
Officials said the expansion reflects Qatar Airways’ long‑term strategy to enhance connectivity between the Middle East and Latin America, while reinforcing Doha’s role as a global aviation hub.
