Qatar Airways Resumes Flights to Helsinki and Tokyo Haneda From July 15
Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of flight operations to Helsinki, Finland (HEL) and Tokyo Haneda, Japan (HND) beginning 15 July 2026, reinforcing its global network, which will serve more than 160 destinations across six continents this summer.
Flights to Helsinki
As part of its strategy to strengthen connectivity with Europe, Qatar Airways will operate four weekly flights to Helsinki starting 15 July, before increasing to daily service from 1 August. The schedule is designed to benefit travelers from Australia, Kenya, and Southeast Asia, offering seamless onward connections through Hamad International Airport.
Flight Schedule (from 15 July):
Doha (DOH) → Helsinki (HEL): QR301 departs 08:40; arrives 15:30
Helsinki (HEL) → Doha (DOH): QR302 departs 17:05; arrives 00:05
Additional flights from 1 August:
Doha (DOH) → Helsinki (HEL): QR303 departs 01:30; arrives 08:20
Helsinki (HEL) → Doha (DOH): QR304 departs 09:50; arrives 16:50
Flights to Tokyo Haneda
Complementing its existing service to Tokyo Narita (NRT), Qatar Airways will return to Tokyo Haneda (HND) with four weekly flights from 15 July, expanding to daily operations from 1 August. The route will facilitate onward transfers within Japan for passengers arriving from Europe and the Middle East.
