Qatar Remote Work
The General Directorate of the Council of Ministers Secretariat General announced, on March 8th 2026, that it will continue to apply the remote work system for up to 70%, with priority given to mothers and persons with disabilities within each entity and as long as this does not affect work requirements.
30% of employees shall report to their workplaces effective Monday 9 March 2026 and until further notice.
The decision includes all ministries, government agencies, public bodies and institutions except for employees of the military, security and health workers as well as jobs that necessitate physical presence.
