Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jordan's Foreign Minister Hold Phone Conversation

Doha, September 12, 2026 : HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Dr. Ayman Safadi held a telephone conversation.

Bilateral Cooperation, Regional Developments Discussed

The talks addressed cooperation between the two countries and avenues for deepening and supporting it, alongside recent regional developments, particularly ongoing diplomatic efforts and close coordination aimed at de-escalating tensions and strengthening security and stability in the region.

Qatar Reaffirms Support for Diplomatic Resolution

During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed that the State of Qatar supports all diplomatic efforts to reach a resolution that guarantees freedom of maritime traffic, paving the way for a comprehensive agreement to achieve enduring peace in the region.
