Old Doha Port has launched an integrated summer program that brings together easier access, visitor comfort, and a varied schedule of events and marine activities across the destination during the warmer months.
From 15 June to 15 October 2026, vehicles can access the road in Mina District, letting visitors park closer to retail and dining outlets and cutting down walking distance in the summer heat. Access is available daily from 3pm to 10pm.
Across Old Doha Port, valet parking is available at half the regular rates throughout the summer season. Guests can also benefit from exclusive offers, including complimentary parking when they meet a minimum spend requirement at retail stores, restaurants, and cafés. Visitors to the Mina Fish Market 'Chabrat Al Mina' can also enjoy complimentary valet parking, with no minimum spend required.
Getting around Old Doha Port is made more convenient, with complimentary golf carts operating across both Mina Park and Mina District to support visitor movement between the destination's main areas.
Alongside these measures, Old Doha Port is running a varied program of summer events and activities. This includes a weekly run every Tuesday, together with a range of sports sessions in the Terminal building, including women-only fitness classes at the City Gallery and beside the aquarium in the Terminal building.
The destination also offers a range of marine activities through the season, available to all visitors in the Container Yard, including fishing, surfing, and water skiing, reinforcing the port's position as a complete summer destination along the waterfront. Fishing enthusiasts can also try traditional sea fishing from the platforms at Mina Park, opposite the Fish Market, against the backdrop of Doha’s skyline.
Together, these initiatives reflect Old Doha Port's commitment to a complete summer experience that combines comfort, easy access, and a program of activities that keeps the destination a preferred choice for visitors looking for leisure and tourism experiences along the waterfront.
