In honour of the UAE’s ‘Year of Zayed’, Emirates Hospital in Jumeirah unveiled a large-scale poster of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan on the façade of the building. The initiative aims to pay tribute to Sheikh Zayed’s inspirational and honourable virtues that have set the precedence for the UAE to gain a reputation as global leader of humanitarian values.

“Sheikh Zayed inspired us all to look to the future, to be innovative, inspired and progressive. We at Jumeirah Hospitals aim to follow in his footsteps and continue to spread his positive influence. While this initial step is a small gesture to preserve the legacy of Sheikh Zayed, we are confident that it will inspire us and others to match Sheikh Zayed’s legacy of giving and selflessness,” said Yazen Abu Gulal, Chairman - Emirates Healthcare and CEO of KBBO Group.

Emirates Hospital in Jumeirah, an Emirates Healthcare Company, is an internationally recognised 100-bed facility located on Jumeirah Beach Road, alongside the Dubai Canal. The hospital is home to some of the world’s leading medical professionals, and offers state-of-the-art healthcare that’s delivered at the highest standard.

“Emirates Hospital was built by visionary people with great attention to detail. Our core values are integrity, teamwork, simplicity, accessibility, agility and empathy, which not only align with Sheikh Zayed’s principles, but also draw us closer to the wise directives of our leadership. Through this initiative, we aim to invest in building not just a noble reputation, but also the most ethical healthcare practices,” added Mr Gulal.

2018 marks 100 years since the birth of the Founding Father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The ‘Year of Zayed’ will not only be a year of remembrance and paying homage to a visionary leader and great man, but to follow in Zayed’s example, and to continue forward from the ‘Year of Giving’. Emirates Healthcare pledges to do its part to instil his admirable values across the community.
