Messaimeer Interchange Tunnel temporarily closed for maintenance on 3 - 4 April 2026

Messaimeer Tunnel closure

The Public Works Authority has announced the temporary closure of Messaimeer Interchange Tunnel for vehicles coming from Mesaieed Road towards E-Ring Road to carry out essential maintenance works.

The tunnel will be closed:

Friday, 3 April 2026; 2 am–10 am
Saturday, April 4, 2026: 2 am – 7 am

Motorists are advised to take alternative roads, as shown in the accompanying map, and not to hinder traffic until the completion of maintenance work carried out in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
