Katara Concludes 2026 Summer Camps with 190 Children Taking Part

Qatar’s Cultural Village Foundation, Katara, has concluded its 2026 summer camps after engaging nearly 190 children in a wide range of cultural, artistic and scientific activities.

The programme ran from July 5 to July 29 and featured 11 specialised camps held across Katara’s facilities. The activities were designed to help children develop their creative, intellectual and practical skills under the guidance of specialists in culture, arts, science, media and heritage.

Cultural and creative activities

The camps offered children opportunities to explore a diverse selection of subjects, including heritage and traditional crafts, theatre, literature, photography, ceramics, visual arts, science, astronomy and religious studies.

Participants also took part in activities focused on Arabic-language skills, creative writing, public speaking, acting, art, photography and scientific exploration.

Through interactive sessions and teamwork, children were encouraged to discover their talents, develop new skills and build confidence in a supportive learning environment.

Encouraging young talent

Katara said the summer programme reflects its commitment to nurturing young talent and strengthening children’s connection to Qatar’s culture and heritage.

By combining education, creativity and entertainment, the camps provided children with an engaging way to spend their summer while gaining practical knowledge and exploring new interests.
