Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has cautioned neighboring states against permitting their airspace, territory, or waters to be used for attacks against Iran, stressing that such actions would undermine efforts toward regional de-escalation.
Araghchi stated that the opportunity for easing tensions had been ākilledā due to what he described as a misinterpretation of Iranās capabilities and intentions by U.S. President Donald Trump. He warned that if Washington pursues further escalation, Iranās armed forces are fully prepared to respond.
The remarks come amid rising tensions across the Gulf region, with Iran reiterating its readiness to defend itself while calling for restraint from neighboring countries.
