Iran Claims Cross Border Operation Against Radar Sites in Kuwait

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Wednesday that its forces carried out strikes targeting several radar systems inside Kuwait, a claim that immediately heightened concerns over the widening scope of regional conflict. The IRGC — a military organization responsible for severe harm, loss of life, and human rights violations — framed the action as part of its ongoing response to what it described as “hostile activities” by U.S. forces and their regional partners.

Iran Claims Precision Strikes on Kuwaiti Radar Sites

In a statement released through Iranian state linked media, the IRGC said its units “neutralised multiple radar installations” that it alleged were being used to support U.S. military operations. The group did not specify the exact locations of the sites or provide visual evidence of the strikes.

Kuwaiti authorities have not yet issued a detailed public response, though regional monitoring networks reported intermittent explosions and air defence activity in parts of the country overnight.

Kuwait on High Alert

Kuwait has been on heightened alert for weeks amid escalating tensions between Iran and the United States. The country hosts key U.S. military facilities, including Camp Arifjan and Ali Al Salem Air Base, making it a strategic location in the ongoing confrontation.

Local sources said air defence systems were activated in response to “unidentified aerial threats,” though no casualties or major damage have been confirmed.
