IN-Q Celebrates 10 Years of IDAM at MIA with Exclusive Chef’s Table hosted by Alain Ducasse
Qatar Museums, IN-Q Enterprises and Groupe Ducasse Paris celebrated 10 years of collaboration with an exclusive Chef’s Table evening with VIP guests as well as Doha’s top influencers and media who enjoyed an elaborate culinary presentation with Alain Ducasse
Doha, 29 January 2023 - IN-Q Enterprises (IN-Q), the commercial arm and a wholly owned subsidiary of Qatar Museums (QM), hosted a Chef’s Table event on January 17 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of IDAM by Alain Ducasse at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) and the decade-long partnership between Groupe Ducasse Paris and Qatar Museums.
The Chef’s Table featured an elaborate culinary presentation boasting a combination of flavours crafted by Alain Ducasse Executive Chef, Jeremy Cheminade and IDAM’s Head Chef, Fabrice Rosso and Head Pastry Chef, Lucas Fourdrinier.
The Chef’s Table, which was attended by Alain Ducasse, presented the perfect opportunity for VIPs, influencers, and the media to have a taste of the restaurant’s latest menu and enjoy a conversation with the Michelin starred chef.
IDAM was established in 2013, as the first foray of Alain Ducasse, into the Middle East. It marked the first venture in the collaboration between Groupe Ducasse Paris and Qatar Museums.
In November 2022, IDAM reopened after the renovations at MIA, with Mr. Mathieu Courtin in the helm as the Restaurant Manager and Chef Fabrice Rosso as Head Chef. In commemorating a decade of haute cuisine IDAM is welcoming back guests and new visitors with an enhanced menu and an elevated experience.
Commenting on the event, IN-Q General Manager Phil Lawrie, said: “We are honoured and delighted to have Alain Ducasse with us here to celebrate 10 fruitful years of partnership with the Groupe Ducasse Paris. We have made great strides in this partnership to transform the dining scene in Doha with the signature experiences and masterful touches of gastronomic virtuoso Alain Ducasse. The Chef’s Table event is a celebration of this close cooperation, and we are delighted to welcome our guests to enjoy the tantalising tastes and fantastic flavours of the menu crafted by the IDAM kitchen team led by Chef Fabrice Rosso.”
From his part, Alain Ducasse said: “I am very glad to be back in Qatar and meet the team at IDAM. The IDAM team and I are excited to welcome our loyal patrons with a specially curated menu that will offer them an exclusive Haute French Cuisine experience in an intimate setting. This Chef’s Table event is a tribute to our valuable partnership with Qatar Museums. Our chefs have meticulously prepared every recipe on this special evening’s menu to take our guests on an unparalleled gastronomic experience.”
Located on the top floor of MIA, IDAM celebrates an iconic landmark in Qatar in an environment that seamlessly blends local tradition with modernity and offers picture-perfect views of Doha’s skyline. The spectacular view is matched with an exquisite interior created by French designer, Phillipe Starck, xfusing modernity with the classics to offer IDAM a dynamic environment with an Arabian touch.
IDAM offers the highest standard of French haute cuisine with the warmest Arabic hospitality. The menu features contemporary Mediterranean dishes with a twist of eclectic Arabian flavours, prepared using fresh and sustainably produced ingredients enhanced with a sophisticated balance of flavours.
