The national airline of Qatar, Qatar Airways, occupied the fifth position in the July 2023 edition of Cirium Aviation Analytics' monthly On-Time Performance (OTP) report.
An aircraft must arrive at the gate within 15 minutes of the planned arrival time in order for an airline to be considered on-time. Flights leaving on time serve as a gauge for airport performance.
Here are the global airline rankings for July 2023, determined by OTP:
- LATAM Airlines: 85.30%
- SA Avianca: 84.67%
- Saudia: 84.11%
- JAL: 83.39%
- Qatar Airways: 82.67%
In June 2023, Qatar Airways held the third position among the most punctual airlines, boasting an On-Time Performance (OTP) rating of 85%.
